In summer of 2020, during the height of the pandemic quarantine, Mr. Jeff Breeze solicited us to record a 'live' set for airing on Pipeline! Included in this was the requirement to select a cover of his choosing from a list he provided. Our choice was and obscure BeeGees track from 1968, a bit out of our comfort zone, but we had time on our hands to make it work. We also recorded 3 not-yet-released songs that will be coming out on our next studio record as well as a BH classic. The Pipeline aired on Sept 1, 2020 and our interview with him would be the last time we spoke.
This record is a tribute to Jeff and all he did for us as well as the Boston music scene in general. Rest easy Breezer.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
